American Flag Retirement - June 14, 2025, 1:00 p.m.

The Harwinton American Legion Post 137 in conjunction with the Harwinton Volunteer Fire Dept. and State Representative John Piscopo will conduct an American flag retirement ceremony on 14 June 2025 at 1pm just off Bentley Drive behind the town’s red recycle garage and storage barn. Parking is available on Bentley. The retirement ceremony is to respectfully destroy old/used/tattered flags. Citizens are encouraged to bring their old flags. The rain date will be the following week (Saturday, 21 June, 1pm, some place).
